Biography:

Lauren Weisberger (born March 28, 1977) is an American writer. She is the author of the 2003 bestseller The Devil Wears Prada, a roman à clef of her experience as an assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Weisberger worked as a writer and editor for Vogue and Departures magazines before writing The Devil Wears Prada, which was adapted into a film of the same name in 2006.
