Dan Wakwale is a Kenyan filmmaker. While studying at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology in Nyeri, he founded the production company YScope Media in 2021. The company, originally named Alpha Comedy Key, initially focused solely on comedy. But as Dan's vision grew, the company changed its name to reflect a broader focus. Today, YScope Media also creates dramas that highlight important social issues, with a particular focus on the challenges faced by young people. Through his work, Dan strives not only to tell engaging stories, but also to highlight and promote new talent in Kenya and the rest of the world.
